About Vitality™ LED Lights

Energetic Lighting, a leading manufacturer of LED Lighting commercial products, introduces the Vitality™ series of products. Cyan boosted to improve performance, safety, and wellness in the office, classroom, healthcare facilities, sport, and fitness centers.

Energetic Lighting has engineered our Vitality™ series of products to exceed DLC 5.1 Premium standards of efficiency while producing high MDER and M/P ratios of cyan wavelengths. These wavelengths have been found to suppress melatonin production during the day or working hours.

Energetic Lighting is a vertically integrated commercial and residential luminaire manufacturer with factories in multiple countries to include China and Vietnam. Our scale enables us to manufacture products with tier 1 quality and offer these products to our customers at very competitive prices. From Vitality™ LED technology, optics, PCB, driver, housing coupled with large scale automation we bring quality products to the market at a value.

Patented Cyan Boosted LED Lighting Technology

Vitality™, our patented LED technology, was scientifically engineered to boost the cyan wavelengths of the visible spectrum to reach effective levels for the suppression of melatonin. CIE S26 standards are used to calculate, The Melanopic-Photopic Ratio (M/P) “milliwatts per photopic lumen”, and the CIE S 026-2018 method to quantify the Melanopic Daylight Efficacy Ratio (MDER). (MDER) is the measure for “spectral melanopic efficiency”.

Manipulated Light

The history of light can be traced back to the beginning of it all when our ancestor discovered fire. It wasn’t until the 1800s when we discovered different colors in the light spectrum. The spectrum we have are campfire, candle, incandescent, fluorescent, and standard LED, each of them are low in the cyan range.

Light is our physiological & Psychological Rhythm

Our physiological and psychological outcomes in response to cyan wavelengths of blue light biological is based off a relationship with light cultivated over millions of years. Over the span of a human’s evolution, we have become dependent of the sun and the visible light spectrum to regulate our sleep and mood. With the sun being such a big influence on our wellbeing we should be outside where the sun’s spectrum can place a positive impact on us. With VitalityTM series of products and the Vitality™ technology we can counter this indoor deficiency. Body and mind working together in the natural response to the cyan range of light.

Benefits of Vitality™ Series Luminaries

Melatonin Suppression

Melatonin is a hormone released by the pineal gland through receiving information about the state of the light-dark cycle. The Pineal Gland regulates sleep. The main function of the pineal gland is to receive and convey information about the current light-dark cycle from the environment, consequently, produce and secrete melatonin cyclically at night “the dark period”. Melatonin is the major key to normal human Circadian rhythms. Circadian rhythm is a fundamental component of a physical, mental, and behavioral that change the follows a 24-hour cycle from the light period through the dark period.

When the Circadian rhythm is disrupted, health and mood of the employees can be altered creating decreased productivity, absenteeism, and safety concern.

During the normal working hours of most people there is little to no exposure to the sun’s natural impact on Melatonin suppression. When the workday is outside of the normal day, such as in 2nd and 3rd shift (or 24 hours operations) the employees, Melatonin increases, thus causing fatigue, lack of productivity, absenteeism, and related safety issues.

The Cyan range of visible light can yield benefits such as: Higher Productivity
• Reduction of Absenteeism
• Increased Safety/Awareness

Vitality™ luminaries and Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.)

What is Seasonal Affective Disorder(SAD)?

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that’s related to changes in seasons ICD-10-CM F33.9 — SAD begins and ends at about the same times every year. If your facility is in an area of the map that is red or light blue, they could be most affected by S.A.D. Vitality luminaries can be an additional benefit

Vitality™ the positive effects in the workspace

Enhancing productivity and reducing errors in the workplace.

The workplace blues, where many people working in offices that have little to no sunlight are met with obstacles, health and wellness shouldn’t be one of those. Fatigue typically is experienced in the later part of a shift and occurs due to a combination of factors such as quality of sleep, diet, physical health. Eye strain and fatigue caused by typical artificial light are contributing factor to low productivity and wellness. Additionally, Increased melatonin production can induce sleep and affect the workplace with workers being absent or with low productivity which could increase work errors. To support your key employees, your lighting systems should optimize safety, health, and productivity by minimizing the circadian rhythm sleep cycle. Vitality™ Technology is the answer.

What boosted Cyan Light can provide staff and clients

• Increased Productivity, Alertness and Energy.

• Minimizes stress and anxiety.
• Melatonin Suppression to disrupt the circadian rhythm.

• Increase in mood and physical health.

Where to Apply Vitality™

Better question is where should you not apply Vitality™

We do not recommend that you install Vitality™ luminaries where significant amounts of sunlight are present during working hours. Other areas you may not want to install Vitality™ is in patient rooms and sleeping areas.

Install Vitality™ where you want the science of light to suppress melatonin production to provide an energetic and alert workplace.
